iGuru Software Ltd is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Android Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about mobile app development, have excellent problem-solving skills, and be capable of designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, reusable, and reliable Java code. You will be responsible for creating innovative solutions and developing new features for our Android apps.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop advanced Android applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented Java code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex technical problems.
• Develop and maintain high-quality code standards and ensure best practices are followed.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the Android app development industry.
• Continuously improve the performance, stability, and usability of our apps.
• Work with designers to ensure the best possible user experience.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Android app development.
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with Kotlin is required.
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines.
• Solid understanding of data storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available.
• Understanding of XML.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other mobile platforms such as iOS or hybrid mobile frameworks like React Native or Flutter.
• Familiarity with Android development tools such as Android Studio and Gradle.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Good understanding of software development principles and design patterns.

Salary: Up to 10 LPA

Prerequisite:
4 Years of experience, Developer would need to have a camera on and work in the Discord server as we use this to communicate. Oral English. Working hours EST 9 to 5.

Job Responsibility:

• Develop a predictive sports analytics web app with modern frameworks
• Break out of the silo. Collaborate with our designer, engineers, CEO, and CTO to build features that delight our customers with no bureaucracy standing in your way
• Have autonomy of the full cycle from design through support in production
• Continually gain feedback, ideate and inform product roadmap to shape and scale the app
• Work on projects that drive the business and make an impact in a fun and growing market
• Ask questions, take risks, and bring ideas to the table while learning and advancing your skills

We’re looking for someone with:

• 4+ years of experience
• Hands-on experience developing mobile apps (iOS & Android) using React Native
• Experience working with Frameworks like React Native Redux Axios hooks Async storage APIs JSX type script
• Experience with one or more of the following: Python (Bonus: Django), SQL
• Nice to have: experience with one or more of the following: Python (Bonus: Django), SQL
• A scrappy, figure-it-out mentality who likes to hustle, is driven and a team player
• Excellent communication, especially with non-technical stakeholders
• Experience or interest in working in a fast-paced, start-up environment

Salary: 80K to 160K INR/Month, with No bar for the right candidate
